WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RESTORE THE ZOHOREI CHAMA SYNAGOGUE!

Your tzedakah donation enables critically-needed repair and growth of the renowned Zohorei Chama Synagogue, whose doors have been open every single day for over a century. Today, over 2000 people enter Zohorei Chama daily.

Please give generously to restore and develop this precious Jerusalem landmark as a vibrant Beit Knesset, Beit Midrash and welcome haven for all, now and for centuries to come!

Contributions to Zohorei Chama Synagogue may be for general use, or earmarked to funds for a range of purposes including:

I. BOLSTER THE FOUNDATIONS

Contribute towards the crucial repairs, renovation and development of the Zohorei Chama Synagogue presently underway.
  • Architect and Engineer/s Fees
  • Construction Permit costs
  • Expanding the steiblach for davening
  • Adding sefarim for the Beit Midrash on the 4th floor
  • Establishing a computerized Torah library on the basement level
  • Changing the location of the present restrooms, and adding additional facilities

II. MEMORIALIZE YOUR LOVED ONES

Honor the memory of family members and friends at the Zohorei Chama Synagogue. Your memorial will be a precious gift to the living as well.
  • For a yahrzeit and/or eternal memorial, a Zohorei Chama member will recite kaddish for your loved ones in a minyan, including netz, in this historic Jerusalem Synagogue.

  • To memorialize a loved one on his/her yahrzeit or throughout the year, commit to cover the Zohorei Chama Synagogue’s current expenses (operating costs) on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis.
